Mediation

As an accredited Civil and Commercial Mediator, I help participants in a dispute to quickly resolve their differences out of court, in a flexible and informal environment, for a fraction of the cost of court proceedings.

Mediation

Mediation needn't be the preserve solely of those departing the organisation.

Mediation is often used when an employee is departing an organisation for whatever reason. However, mediation can also be useful when resolving internal disputes where it is felt that no impartiality can be found. Not all workplace disputes need to end in termination.

Coaching

Our coaching is not about rectifying performance issues.

Quite the contrary, coaching in this context is about helping the client to practice conflict resolution techniques, discuss the conflict and come to understand how it may impact different personalities in different ways, and supporting them in making a commitment to management conflict before it escalates into a dispute. As DISC and Energy Leadership Index practitioners, we can provide insight into how the client reacts to situations under stress and their day-to-day demeanour.

Training

60% of Line Managers report receiving no training on conflict resolution.

While 40% of team members reported believing that their manager was responsible for the conflict, either as the source of the conflict or by making it worse though mismanagement. Training helps leaders, managers, HR teams, executives and individuals walk confidently towards the conflict and resolution, to prevent it from snowballing into grievances, resignations and catastrophic events the organisation becomes liable for.


Nearly three-quarters of those who underwent mediation (74%) also reported that their conflict had been fully or largely resolved.
